... to think that my kids have an alarm on the door of the loo?

How else do they know that I am going to the loo? If they are home, I can't go for a wee without being followed.

'MuuuuuuuuuuuuuUUUUmmmmmmmmmm!!'

Anyone else?

I call it the 'Arse Alarm'. As it seems everytime I go some one wants me.

Yes and it's usually something really annoying like "muuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, can I wear this random top to some random event 6 weeks from now" and I usually reply with "Maybe, but I'm trying to have a wee, leave me in peace." which is then followed by the other one saying "muuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyyyyyyy, I a bit thirsty" and me saying "Ok but I'm having a wee you'll have to wait until I'm finished"

Every time DH goes to the loo, DD is suddenly desperate - drives him spare! He is considering putting a second toilet in the shed

MmeLindor · 01/01/2014 22:09

Crafty
YES! Or they are bashing each others heads in. They only fight when I go to the loo.

LOL at Arse Alarm.

Mine had radar for the moment I sat down with a cup of tea and a magazine.

They could be completely engrossed in something lulling me into a false sense of security that they might be happy and quiet for ten minutes.

Nope! Silly Mummy!

MmeLindor · 02/01/2014 19:43

Oh, yes. Mine have one of them too.

Doomed, we are. Doomed.

I can trump all of you!

DD only ever needs a poo when I'm in the bath or shower, thus stinking out the bathroom.

I've given up on relaxing bubble baths altogether.

shelley1977 · 02/01/2014 19:47

It's not just children, my cats are just as bad if not worse. I never get peace!

Heartbrokenmum73 · 02/01/2014 19:49

Oooh yes, Shelley, my cats all think the best time to get on my lap is definitely when I'd sitting on the toilet!

MmeLindor · 02/01/2014 19:49

Shelley
Yes, the dog insists on following me to the loo as well. So even when the kids are in school, I can't pee alone.

And [snort] at your choice of words, Heartbroken - trump us all in the loo!

This made me laugh. Very true in this house.
