To wonder why??

I have to socialise with a person I don't like and who seemingly hates me. (Never did anything wrong as far as I know). Her dp is best friends with mine, kids same age. I try and avoid her but am civil when I see her, she however is all over me. Always invites me personal to kids party etc ( my dh invites his friend if the party is here).

Just been invited to party by her again. She has told loads of people she hates me, so why is she so nice to my face??! It's very unnerving!

How weird! That is really disconcerting! What do these people say when they report that she has said she hates you? I think if several people had told me that I would have to ask her about it even if it was in a jokey way ie "I know this sounds odd but xxxx and xxxxx said something really strange to me the other day" and see what she says.

Perhaps someone's shit stirring and she doesn't hate you at all?

No she definitely does not like me. I don't wan to say too much in case in I out myself but I am close friends with someone in her family (through marriage) and she has confirmed this. Pointless confronting I think ad she is very passive aggressive & I wouldn't get a straight answer! His bizarre right?
