Another 'rewatched it several times' person here! I always thought BC was like a jigsaw of a very handsome man that someone had put together slightly wrongly - I can see he's beautiful but he didn't really do anything for me. Now he does :o It was definitely the hair ruffle that did it - that and the collar-adjusting. Oh, man alive.

Still not as good as the (skip to 2.00 to get to the good stuff!) :)

If I win the lottery, I'm going to hire BC to do rude things to me sit and read RnB lyrics to me.

As an offshoot, I can also highly recommend the wonderful John Krasinski (from The American Office) on Jimmy Fallon, with both of them miming to various songs in competition with each other - brilliant.

Lotta and Checkpoint, I'm the same. I have honestly watched that clip quite a lot of times and I feel pretty embarrassed about how much I've thought about it. What is it about the BC that he has this effect on so many adult women?!

He looks like my old GP! Who gave me his mobile number once...(I was ill...) and told me I had the best medical recall of any patient he had ever had.

So he gave me the consultant's number to discuss things straight without him having to intercede.

He's married. ARGH

Right, I'm ready to be told I'm taking things much too seriously and I'm in a minority of one.

But I found the kiss seriously disturbing. No matter how attractive or sexy they are, no human being should force a passionate kiss on another without consent. I think what he did was assault, and the normalisation of that assault on the grounds that he is some kind of quirky sex god is deeply worrying. When did this become OK?

I thought that too Clarinet...if I am honest I find that sort of strident masculinity a bit of a turn off. Boyf used to do the hair tussle thing too - and I thought it was wonderful then - but he treated me fairly badly and kept swanning off to Sofia.

I think BC is attractive and sexy but I would want someone a little more, mm, well he's a bit condescending isn't he.

I think she gives a sort of implicit consent maybe in that scene? Maybe she looks at him just for a split second before he does it and he thinks it is Ok? I don't know though. She looks pretty gutted after it.

The scene was a spoof in response to the speculation of fans. Molly has lusted after him forever and this was the writers' way of giving Molly (and therefore the fans) exactly what they wanted.

Anyway, she hardly resisted!

Clarinet and Rooners, I do get where you're coming from. It was a bit Mills and Boon. And totally and utterly out of character for Sherlock. Althoygh i think even he knows that Mollys in love with him and i saw it as a thank you to her for helping him pull off the stunt. Dear god though - it was properly heart stopping.

I only find BC attractive when he has Sherlock hair. Any other hairstyle and I find him quite odd looking. The big hair balances out his strong features.

Clarinet, haven't you watched the show? She is known to have a massive crush on him. Plus Sherlock is an expert at reading people - he sees all this about Mary in a couple of seconds www.radiotimes.com/news/2014-01-01/everything-sherlock-deduces-about-mary-morstan I think he would have been well aware that the kiss was welcome.
