To be a bit offended by the 'you got the love' Coke ad.

Walked in halfway through...thought it was some kind of charity promotion with all the positive images of cancer-fighting fundraisers and happy civil partnerships...and it was an advert for coca cola. Cynical old bunch of toss!

it is a load of bull poop eh I thought it was for a charity or something

GlitzAndGiggles · 30/12/2013 21:58

Yeah I thought it was a bit odd for coca cola. But I guess they use the cancer bit to keep people watching

DaftSkunk · 30/12/2013 21:58

I like the version they've done of the song though.

VelvetSpoon · 30/12/2013 22:00

I was thinking when saw it for the first time wow what a great, inspiring, ad for something worthwhile...

Bloody Coke! Hmm

mrsjay · 30/12/2013 22:00

yes i like the song, infact we were taking bets what it was for charity or a mobile phone those can be cheesy really didnt think cola at all

DaftSkunk · 30/12/2013 22:00

Argh clicked up soon, didn't like the advert do much.

TheLostPelvicFloorOfPoosh · 30/12/2013 22:00

I loved it.

I don't drink coke, and it wouldn't persuade me to, but I cannot disparage the message of love it conveys.

mrsjay · 30/12/2013 22:01

I was not offended by it though just a bit Hmm

Chippednailvarnish · 30/12/2013 22:01

I believe when casting for this advert they purposely picked the most annoying group of over acting kids they could find.

It puts me off buying coca cola.

HettiePetal · 30/12/2013 22:02

Can't imagine why anyone would be "offended" by it.

tiredlady · 30/12/2013 22:03

I wonder if they will have the balls to screen it in America.
I bet they don't

mrsjay · 30/12/2013 22:04

urm they might in some states tiredlady

Chippednailvarnish · 30/12/2013 22:04

It's not offensive, it's just crap!

Rosencrantz · 30/12/2013 22:08

It's just a PR move. Anyone offended is a bit dim really. Whether you like it or not, Coke do involve themselves in corporate social responsibility.

Who doesn't mask their flaws and accentuate their positives?

Rosencrantz · 30/12/2013 22:08

Clicky link fail.

AcheyFanny · 31/12/2013 10:18

I like the cat high fives.

Shallistopnow · 31/12/2013 10:58

I was sickened by it, thought it was for Cancer Research or something. Not for Coke which contributes to obesity & indirectly to some cancers.

Plus I hate kids singing.

MrsMaryCooper · 31/12/2013 11:01

I don't like it. It won't make me drink Coke either.

ThePigOfHappiness · 31/12/2013 11:03

I like it. But coke cut the civil partnership bits out in the ads shown in Ireland Hmm
