Auntpetunia or any other person with coeliac - help

I know this isn't an AIBU, but I need advice. I'm having MIL over for dinner on NY day and she is coeliac. I have ordered free from gravy, free from yorkies and a free from xmas pud, but can't find free from custard or cream, or does that not matter? Will she be able to eat it?

Thanks very much.

Cream should be safe. You would need to check custard containers for gluten or make some using gluten free ingredients

Ambrosia Devon custard is gluten free

Cream is dairy so perfectly fine, you could make the custard properly using eggs, cream and vanilla, it is far easier than its reputation.

This is a good method but I would use 50/50 full fat milk and double cream

You could also make brandy butter to go with the pudding, this is just brandy, butter and icing sugar
