Took dneice (aged 5) to the toy shop yesterday to spend some christmas money. On walking past the peppa pig section i express some interest in some of the items to be told ...peppa pig is just for babies. I am aware that the disney princesses are the way to go now but surely theres abit of room for peppa pig.

Hmmm...well my 2yo likes Peppa so I assume she will have outgrown it by five, but I too would be sad as I quite enjoy it Grin

It doesnt mean that the only other things are fairy princesses etc. I am excited to see dd at 4/5 playing with Lego/Playmobil!

Peppa Pig is for babies. It's a pre school show DD would be mortified if I bought her Peppa Pig

DD is four and peppa occasionally gets a second glane. She is all about her sylvanian families now.

Myname before leaving for toy shop we did watch a peppa pig cartoon which might have be for her 2 year old brothers benefit as there was some disney princess dressing up going on. I have enjoyed learning about peppa and george and their friends and am sad that this peppa pig time might be over. It now it seems needs a crash course on frozen. Playmobil and lego is also loved by both of them.

My dd got some peppa pig toys when she was 6.5years and still plays with it at 7.5years.

Kids like what they like.

DS (6) still watches PP although he pretends he only does it for his little sister (2). Smile

Really? Ds1 was 4 a few weeks ago and just saw a few episodes at pil over Xmas eve/ day for the first time. He seemed to quite like it.

My nearly 6yo loves watching peppa pig but doesn't want to have any of the toys, clothes etc. she has also moved on from princesses. Clothes wise it's Hello Kitty now and she's starting to want Barbies.

My nearly 2yo loves peppa pig toys and when I put some pp leggings in the trolley in Sainsburys last week she kissed and cuddled them all the way to the checkout!

I can't stand Peppa pig, so bloody annoying. I was so thrilled when DNs moved on to Paw Patrol :)

Kids like what they like, there's no real age limit. I still watched Pokemon at 16 lol.
