it's in his selection box and I REALLY fancy it. He prefers chomps so it's not that unreasonable, surely?!

BohemianGirl · 27/12/2013 21:18

Are you really that greedy?

stgeorgiaandthedragon · 27/12/2013 21:24

YANBU! They are lovely!

DottiestDoris · 27/12/2013 21:28

Bohemian-it appears soGrin
You're clearly above temptation of this nature?

BohemianGirl · 27/12/2013 21:29

I don't like chocolate. And I don't steal from my children.

SecretNutellaFix · 27/12/2013 21:29

How old is he?
I hope you are prepared for the mother and father of all temper tantrums when he finds it gone if he's under eight

BohemianGirl · 27/12/2013 21:30

~ should read " I don't steal"

Ha ha stealing!? Replace it tomorrow.

DottiestDoris · 27/12/2013 21:33

Well Nutella, he's only 2. So he hasn't really got much concept of how much or what is in the box. Does that make it any better??

Gladvent · 27/12/2013 21:34

OP I don't know how you can live with yourself really I don't. You greedy greedy thief. (I would eat everything in selection box and pretend it never existed ;) )

DottiestDoris · 27/12/2013 21:35

oooh very...tempting solution but I fear I'd eat that too and start a vicious and potentially weighty circle.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 27/12/2013 21:41

My son would cry if someone ate his CurlyWurly or his chocolate buttons.

But he's 4.

CasperGutman · 27/12/2013 21:41

Of course YANBU. It's a classic case if "you snooze, you lose." Right?

DottiestDoris · 27/12/2013 21:43

Oh I wouldn't do it if I knew it would make him cry. I think I'm tempted cos I know he's young and won't notice. And I'm greedy, as Bohemian kindly pointed out.

I just stole saved ds from some marauding smarties.

He's 13 months and my first. I'm testing the theory that if he doesn't know what sweets are, he can't whine and throw tantrums about them at checkouts. I will probably be proven spectacularly wrong, but until then all chocolate belongs to me

pigletmania · 27/12/2013 21:46

Yabvvvvvvvvvvu x1 trillion. You naughty thief you Grin. You are doing him a favour, chocolate is not good for toddlers, especially chewy ones like curly whirly

DottiestDoris · 27/12/2013 21:48

Grin Casper

Purple-like it. It's worth a try!

I've actually got a 2month old ds too, so when ds1 gets wise to the wandering curlywurlies, I can target his instead. Although that's not the main reason we had him.

littleblackno · 27/12/2013 23:51

My ds ( nearly 8) gives me all chocolate bars that have nuts in as he doesn't like nuts.
It's amazing how many bars have nuts in them... crunchies mainly! Grin

friday16 · 27/12/2013 23:53

The only chocolate bar named after a canal, trivia fans.

FreudiansSlipper · 27/12/2013 23:55

sharing is caring

that is the moto in this house when i pinch some of ds chocolates

timidviper · 27/12/2013 23:56

Do it! When he is a teenager he will eat everything that is his, yours or anybody else's. Get your revenge in first! Grin

ArgyMargy · 27/12/2013 23:57

Pathetic. You are an adult.

FreudiansSlipper · 28/12/2013 00:00

exactly you are the adult you make the decisions do not let a little thing like ownership get in the way
