In refusing to play anymore games

Ds1 and 2 are 6 and 4 and want to play games such as connect 4 and snap Dd is 2 and keeps messing the games up. This causes the boys to get upset and angry with her. They then start fighting. I am on my own with the kids. She is very demanding of my attention and climbs everywhere. I have stuck the tv on and given up. This is not happy families.

Can you do something with your daughter and leave your sons to play their game?

FeckOffCupofMulledWine · 27/12/2013 16:37

Can't your DS's go and play it in their bedroom/kitchen table while DD plays with her own toys in the living room?

notnow2 · 27/12/2013 16:39

Oh no they don't want to play together - they want me to play!

Can you and DD play as a team? The boys will surely understand she needs your help to play.

notnow2 · 27/12/2013 16:43

I think my dd is feral - she just wants to upturn everything. She is 26 months so not that easy to explain the game to.

Could she be on your "team", so she cold play for a bit, then wander off when she gets bored, to play in the same room, without disrupting the game?

SanityClause · 27/12/2013 16:43

X posted.
