Been here since Sunday (going home Saturday)- I've had enough now especially of the MIL - really starting to piss me off. Luckily at the moment we are in separate rooms.

I'm really trying but can't be arsed .

Me too...except mine are going tomorrow...weather permitting!

ViviPru · 26/12/2013 17:44

Why did you agree to them staying such a godawful long time?

jimijack · 26/12/2013 17:45

What are they doing to piss you off?

Nosey...

ThinkAboutItTomorrow · 26/12/2013 17:47

Me too but i have 2 more weeks. Aaarg.

HaroldTheGoat · 26/12/2013 17:49

Are you being a meanie or is she a proper pain?

LynetteScavo · 26/12/2013 17:52

YANBU.

Saturday is a lifetime away. I hope you have a plan for Morrow!

brainwashed · 26/12/2013 18:00

Thinkaboutit ......2 more weeks!! Will think of you later when I'm feeling pissed off with my pils and be glad this is the last night of preparing lovely food for no thanks whatsoever and no offers of help.

TheChimpParadox · 26/12/2013 18:08

I didn't agree to them being here - that's the problem !

OP posts:
ViviPru · 26/12/2013 18:25

Then your problem is not with them, it's with whoever said it was OK for them to stay that long...

Aniseeda · 26/12/2013 18:39

yanbu, a night or two is plenty for me no matter who the guest is.

I like my in-laws a lot but I would be losing the will to live by day two. They are lovely but omg can they talk and I need a certain amount of quiet or I start to implode!

Take yourself off out somewhere tomorrow if you can, even if all you do is sit in the car and read a magazine!

EndoplasmicReticulum · 26/12/2013 18:42

YANBU. A week is too long.

FrankelInFoal · 26/12/2013 18:44

Milk and relatives go off after 3 days.

Troo fact Grin

TheBookofRuth · 26/12/2013 18:45

I hear ya. Mine are very nice and we had a lovely day yesterday, but I'd be much happier if they'd have left this morning!

Chivetalking · 26/12/2013 18:52

YADNBU.

Never agree to a week again

CaptainSweatPants · 26/12/2013 18:56

MintyChops · 26/12/2013 19:04

Chin up, there's only tomorrow to get through. Can you go out on your own and leave then and your DH to enjoy a day with the kids? You could go to the sales (if feeling brave), lunch, cinema or just have a nice long walk?

MintyChops · 26/12/2013 19:05

By the way, YANBU it's far too long a visit

Suddengeekgirl · 26/12/2013 19:09

We are with MIL. We go home tomorrow - only 16 more hours to go. Grin

TheChimpParadox · 26/12/2013 20:02

Could really do with being on own with DH and children. DH and I not been getting on recently. Ever felt lonely in a house full of people.

Suddengeekgirl · 26/12/2013 20:08

Chimp - I was surrounded by almost 20 of my family today. So so lonely! Know exactly what you mean! :(

Hope you get some quality time with dh in the gap between Christmas chaos and new year madness! Wine

ThinkAboutItTomorrow · 26/12/2013 20:09

Start planning something nice to do with DH now. It'll keep you going. Well, that and wineWine

TheChimpParadox · 26/12/2013 20:26

DH gone to bed now as feeling unwell ! Left with them.

Suddengeekgirl · 26/12/2013 21:04
