The fucker woke me up at midnight and I still haven't managed to get back to sleep. DD will be awake in an hour and a half which means I'll achieve a maximum of three hours sleep Xmas Sad

How do I get through a day of over excited small children in a house where on Christmas day the tv is switched on for the Queen's speech and the Queen's speech only? Oh and I've got a stinking cold.

Bah humbug.

YANBU, ours hasn't been working for years, as it's a noisy unreliable, waking you up at random object.
