I don't like Christmas.

1. It's so annoying to try and get around the shops anytime in December with a pushchair due to shops stacking the aisles with anything and everything and not forgetting all the other people. Which leads to pushchair rage.

1. You get presents that you really don't need. Although the charity shop does well.

1. Struggling relationship with pil since we've had our ds. We may not do things like you did (breast feeding, blw) but that doesn't mean it's wrong.

1. People spend far too much on ds and us.

1. Traditions I enjoyed with my parents we can't do as we can't see both sets of parent's and enjoy time at home.

I know lots of these are probably very selfish and are expecting you to tell me so but phrase be gentle as not sure I posted in the right place.

Completely sympathise! This was me last week, felt as though it was all a massive farce. I feel better now I have finished my shopping and got what food we need for Xmas day. My FIL was a PITA after I had my DS with his opinions about bf etc. (I was feeding him too much apparently ) but I had this lovely moment of clarity where I thought - you can think and say what you like but he is my LO and I'll do what I think is best! That combined with some planned ignoring (of FIL) works well for me. And the odd ??! Yanbu. But hope you enjoy bits if it!

As for FIL, Greedygirl, tell him to do it better if he can, that'll fix him.

DS is 6 now but wish I had thought to say that when I was BF - that would have shut him up for 5 mins!
