It's these damn pages Zombie. Confuses everything!

How to tell small boy is not feeling well: he fell asleep on the sofa. He never does that.

Fiderer · 24/12/2013 15:01

The pages are shite.

Poor Small Boy, and poor Tee, rotten timing.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 24/12/2013 15:08

Now he's got a bit of a fever.

So glad we're staying right here for the holiday.

PacificDingbat · 24/12/2013 15:10

It's Christ-MAAAAAAAAS!!

TheBigJessie · 24/12/2013 15:15

What's all this about pages? I'm on page 9 of this thread. First thread was 40 pages long for me.

I found another two presents and had to wrap them. MrJessie said, "well if you didn't start in August, you wouldn't lose track of what you'd bought".

I glared and told him one was a present I bought yesterday, and the other one was one he'd bought in November! Xmas Grin or possibly October.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 24/12/2013 15:17

Poor Tee Sad and TeeBoy and Liney.

Well, I got alcohol, and final presents and went to visit my mum, where my dad forgot we were coming and had gone out and the kids got cranky.

So a good start all round Xmas Grin

But as I said, I did get alcohol.

The kids are now arguing with dh because they are all watching a film and they want a scary one and he's a wimp. But he's outnumbered and sulking.

Honestly, I wonder who the child is these days [sigh]

Jessie you used to be able to set it to see a thread all in one page. They took that away just recently and some of us are still bitter.

My mother in law handed me a present about a month ago saying 'this was suppose to be for last year Christmas'. She had forgotten about it. Why she didn't just give it to me this Christmas is a mystery. It is a lovely manicure set.

PacificDingbat · 24/12/2013 15:20

Ok. I've caught up I think

Tee, dose Poorly Boy up on Calpol. Kids' fever is always higher in the afternoon/evening. Has he upchucked yet? Poor wee guy.

Liney, I only now got that le builder chaud was and actual paramour of yours and not just a builder you fancied BlushXmas Grin. Hope you stomach will allow you to enjoy all that booze.

KingRollo, yeah to nice date and getting home safely. 'Tis wild here just now...

MaryZ, yy to stoopid alcohol laws - I got my several bottles of various spirits only just over the tills on Sunday night Before The Clock Stuck 10pm. Before 10pm = festive indulgence. After 10pm = problem-drinker prone to violence. Xmas Hmm.

Fiderer, eat some Lebkuchen for me Thanks.

I've just had cold left-over pizza. For lunch. At 3.
Yep, it's been a tad busy at work.

But now I'm HOME AND NOT GOING BACK FOR 6 GLORIOUS DAYS by which time I will be so ready to go back and escape the out of school darling offspring Xmas Grin

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 24/12/2013 15:22

PD no vomit so far. It's all pouring out the other end. I'll give him Calpol before bed. He's awake now and watching Sponge Bob.

PacificDingbat · 24/12/2013 15:23

Oh, the glamorous rich woman and her jealous sister
Can't say I'm surprised that it was deleted.
Modelling career -

Jessie, I am on pages anyway - much nicer. Don't listen to these people dependent on their 'one page' nonsense.
And congrats on the impressive snotter - oh, the glamour of motherhood.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 24/12/2013 15:27

Pages are a load of bollocks.

But I suppose you can have them if you want them [grudging] but why should we have to have them if we don't [mutter]

LineRunner · 24/12/2013 16:07

Pacific, yes the poor sod really exists. He came to fix some burst pipes in June, and was lured into my web of sex the minute he took his top off during the heatwave.

He's been lovely during all my medical bollocks.

PacificDingbat · 24/12/2013 16:08

Aw, that is so nice. Young love always warms the cockles of my heart.

We've only every had insane builders or ones who suggested I put a dram of whisky in unsettled DS3's bottle 'to calm him down'. Nutters.
Xmas Grin

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 24/12/2013 16:18

Merry Christmas lovely MNers!

Now I have gin, Grand Marnier, Drambuie, Kahlua, several types of scotch, vodka, beer but NO BAILEYS. Travesty.

Welcome home Rollo. Tee & Liney sorry about your illnesses, and here's to a speedy recovery. Maryz good news about the booze.

GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 24/12/2013 16:19

Us too, PD. Most memorably was the one who was not happy when I told him to make his own bloody tea because I was feeding my baby!

Workmen in this country can be insane.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 24/12/2013 16:30

Morning hearts, what time can you drink?

I have 92 minutes left.

Builders, pfft Hmm. The last lot of builders we got were invisible. They were so invisible so often that in the end dh got up on the roof with a tube of polyfiller equivalent and fixed it himself. Touch wood it's still not leaking.

OP posts:
Fiderer · 24/12/2013 16:31

Workmen here don't expect tea or coffee, oddly enough.

All my children have gone - FidBoy2 was a bit quiet but it helped that exH's partner picked them up and not exH.

Gin for me now.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 24/12/2013 16:34

How long have they gone for Fids? I do hope he is ok - though I suppose the fact that he's going at all is a big step for everyone.

Fingers crossed Flowers

OP posts:
Fiderer · 24/12/2013 16:38

Thanks Maryz

Till lunchtime tomorrow, and yes it is a big step. I can't believe it's been nearly 3 years. And it's been planned for a while so it just seemed to build up iykwim. When exH stayed the weekend here a few weeks ago FidBoy2 stayed at friends to avoid him.

MaryzBoychildCheeszuzCrizpz · 24/12/2013 16:42

Oh my goodness, that's a massively brave step for him. I do hope they are nice to him.

Will FidBoy1 look after him and let you know if it all goes tits-up?

Are you on your own?

OP posts:
GodRestTEEMerryGenTEEmen · 24/12/2013 16:44

I have just had a go at Sonic Transformers Racing on the XBox and totally disgraced myself.

My 4 year old drives better than I do.

Hope it all goes well Fid. Good on him for going.

Fiderer · 24/12/2013 16:55

FidBoy1 will and FidGirl will prob be on the lookout.

I did prime exH by email (sensitivity of a rock and v foot in mouth) esp about his mother and when exH's partner picked them up I mentioned it to her. ExH had (surprisingly) told her too as she commented that she knows exMIL can be tactless. Apparently the first time she met exMIL there was horror that the partner smokes and exMIL told her 5 times "You do know that smoking makes you ugly, don't you?"

Yes, I'm on my own. German Christmas meal/presents is tonight but that means in the alternate years we are here, I still spend most of Christmas day with the children and they're too old for Santa presents in the morning, that would have been hard.

bigkidsdidit · 24/12/2013 16:56

DH has been at work all day, we have watched films back to back all day long. As soon as he gets back I'm handing him the baby, delivering cards o the neighbours then pouring an enormous baileys! Hopefully I'm now at glug minus 65 minutes

LineRunner · 24/12/2013 16:57

I am still doing fricking laundry ffs.
