Depends if she has anything else to unwrap or not.

Dd got a play kitchen for her birthday (2) last week and I didnt wrap it. She walked through the door and said "wow!!" Grin

Still had other bits to wrap.

Did you get any bits to go with the kitchen - food, pans etc? Just wrap those.

Bowlersarm · 23/12/2013 13:37

Then no YANBU!

GhoulWithADragonTattoo · 23/12/2013 13:38

Just stick a bow on it! You'd be unreasonable to waste that much paper on wrapping them.

I've got a kitchen for my dd and going to attempt to wrap...

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 23/12/2013 13:45

I would cover it with a sheet and stick a bow on it, then pull off with a TA Dah flourish. Smile

We are going to put a strip round my son's and a big now on the top...

By the way, I'm thinking a kitchen is a truly unisex present, but it's suddenly occurred to me that others may think it's a girls' toy?!

edwinbear · 23/12/2013 13:53

ds and dd got a toy kitchen last year, we put it together then put a sheet over it and tied a ribbon round it just as stepaway suggests .....as an aside, we were putting the damn thing together until 1am christmas eve, i have asked santa to supply a team of assembly elves if he ever brings them a self assembly toy again

NoComet · 23/12/2013 14:06

Sheet and a bow is what we did with DDs full sized arm chair and we put a bedspread over DD2's bike and hid it behind the dinning table.

She had to find it and was really puzzled how Santa hadn't woken DSIS who was sleeping in there Grin
