Ha ha. I sort of like getting them. But just can't imagine writing an essay about myself and sending one.

Sparklingbrook · 21/12/2013 10:21

Won't you think of the trees?

MarlenaGru · 21/12/2013 10:22

Ha! My inlaws send them almost daily. Too bloody cheap to pay for a stamp. Would rather they didn't bother.

Donki · 21/12/2013 10:23

Some of them are fun!
Why are they worse than snail mail?

softlysoftly · 21/12/2013 10:24

No idea what these are?

Shnickyshnackers · 21/12/2013 10:25

hate these!! The advent calendars especially!!

Slatecross · 21/12/2013 10:30

YABU. Jacqui Lawson is the true personification of Christmas. True fact.

Donki · 21/12/2013 10:39

Some people don't like email - or posting on forums like thus. Each to their own!
Yanbu if you don't like something.
But I can't see anything inherently wrong with them (although I admit some can be kitch and tacky - but so can a lot of printed cardboard things)

Sixweekstowait · 21/12/2013 10:54

Softly you are very very lucky!

My mother has an account. She sends one for every bloody occasion and non-event.

I thought I could get away with just ignoring the bastards but apparently the site tells her whether the card's been viewed or not Hmm

nkf · 21/12/2013 11:06

What are they? Email cards. I love them. The thought's there but no bit of card to clutter up my house.

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 21/12/2013 11:13

Oh god, the site tells her whether they have been viewed or not?
Mil sends them to us and grandson - we live abroad.
I can't view them on iPad or iPhone. Birthdays, Christmas, advent calendars...
DH can on his laptop but never bothers to despite me dutifully reminding him.
DS is 3 and not interested.
All this time I've been sending polite little thank you emails for cards we never view.
I didn't think she'd know we never viewed them.
