WIBU to let DH be embarrassed?

Basically I am fed up of being the one to always have to buy, wrap and remember the presents for his side of the family, usually last minute because despite nagging him he always "forgets".

Despite daily reminders to him all this week the presents and cards (that I bought) for his family remain untouched. When I reminded him last night he said "yeah, in a minute, I'm watching a film.

We are leaving for his parents house in an hour and I have a newborn to deal with.

Would it be really mean of ne to just not do it this year and let him be embarrassed for once? I've been coming to his rescue for every single birthday as well for the last 8 years.

Grrrrrr. Angry

I have left DH in charge of his mum, sister and dad for the last few years. They never got anything; even when/after his sister and dad were dead/dying.

He's made a ladt minute photo album for his mum this year.

This thread has been so funny!

My husband does do present buying but doesn't wrap. Apparently he once wrapped his family Christmas presents in newspaper......they have never let him live it down. When he does wrap its all lumpy and weird so I actually prefer to do it myself to save him getting such a slagging Grin

Hope she didn;t plan on marzipan and icing!!!

My ex used to always ask people over for bbq and at the time he'd told them we'd eat would stroll in the kitchen and say 'I'm just going down the village for charcoal'!!!
