Jack Daniels, fancy Lindt chocolate and some stand-up on TV for me but, yes, I think this is a much better option than braving it in packed-out pubs with all the work Christmas parties etc :-)

First year in about 15 years that I haven't ventured out the weekend before Christmas. In baggy pj bottoms, quiet clean house, scented candles and new baby. Total bliss!!!!

Just feeling sorry for myself, PMT and stressing about bloody Christmas. It's meant to be fun but it's a bug load of over hyped balls! But thanks :)

I watched the SATC film with a bottle of beer. But it was short lived as DP couldn't get poorly DS to bed and it's just taken 4.5 hours and tears from everyone to do it. Bloody winter bugs

oh tell me about it. I LOVE christmas but sitting in my lovely, fairylighted and betinselled living room, I realise that ne'er a bauble would be hung if it wasn't my doing. I'd love it if DH would join in more whole heartedly as an expression of his love for me and his appreciation of how much I care about it IYSWIM. It'll come right, in 5 days...
