to want to bite off my own hand if I see the phrase "nom nom" used by and about adults again?

Yes, I am, I know.
But I'd rather play a specially-made CD of DS scraping his nails down the blackboard than see another adult post this phrase on Facebook (and yes, I know, I just shouldn't go on there....).

Nom nom is intensely irritating.
YANBU.

DeepThought · 19/12/2013 13:54

Hah

we say '' hoooo, that was nommy nommers''

Ye have to imagine Pam Ayres saying it for full comprehension of local (oi am a zoider drinker) vocal.

BlingBang · 19/12/2013 13:56

Folk saying or writing Nom, Nom, Nom makes me feel shabby. Also know someone who constantly writes on Fb about her gorge friends, her gorge husband, the gorge dinner that her gorge friends made her and her gorge husband etc. STABBY!

milk · 19/12/2013 13:58

KellyEllyMincePieBelly · 19/12/2013 13:59

"what a person says to their f*ck buddy, or when alone with cake, cannot be criticised...."

That is a very good rule for life. I will remember it.

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 19/12/2013 14:05

misskatamari · 19/12/2013 15:47

I do absolutely frigging hate gawjus/totes and the like. I do lol but learnt that many moons ago as a teenager when I first discovered the internet and it's too ingrained now. I hate it when people actually use it as a spoken word tho! Just no excuse!
