Ok not really really bad things but a few in one week! I had a gut feeling last Friday I was going to have a bad week! Even joked I would go sick so I would not have to leave house for a week!

Then I had parking ticket for parking in a space I have parked in before as says 1hr max...I was less than an hour. It was the 'Loading till midday' I missed - £70 fine!

Lost money in locker at leisure centre, never happened before!

Then manager caused so much trouble for me I have to make a complaint and being granted a move when I return in NY. This will last months and stress I could do without. This is very serious as feel like packing work in over it all!

Then washing machine broke midcycle with ds shirts for xmas concert next day. Kitchen got flooded and cut my hand on plastic mop. New washing machine needed asap as needed to wash and pack this weekend for going away on Monday! £££s for replacement!

Took over hour to get ds to school which normally takes 20 mins and had to cancel attending important meeting that am.

What started as routine gp appointment was sent immediately to hospital for treatment....I guess that was goodluck!

Now ds unwell and we are traveling all day Monday to go abroad for a week. Not good timing as lots of swimming pools etc and if ds unwell wont be able to go swimming etc

So many bad things happened! I knew it was going to be a bad one before it happened! Anyone else experienced the knowing it was going to be bad week beforehand?

I think it has finished now? Hope so!

Sometimes it comes in a torrent doesn't it?

Last Xmas I had this nagging feeling that our big plans wouldn't work out.

I was right - one by one every single member of the family fell very ill with norovirus - I was the only one who didn't succumb and had to nursemaid all of them. My mother was rushed to hospital on boxing day and spent a week in ICU - and our drains broke. I was up to my ears in shite trying to rod crap down the drains in the thickest snow storm for 20 years with everyone in the house desperate to use the loo because they had bad d&v.
And we lost £200 on pre-booked panto tickets and all of the Xmas food went to waste.
Sometimes life is so crap it's funny.

thanks raisah and harticus, that was horrendous about family xmas meal, but worse when your mum ended up in hospital poor thing! Did you post on here about it as I remeber someone writing similar story last year! OMG the drains it must have been horrendous!

I am praying it was just a bad 'week' which finishes today! I just hope our coach gets to Gatwick and our flight gets us to Morocco safely on Monday and ds is better to enjoy the week away! Fingers crossed!
