Pharrell's new song and music video 'happy'? I defy anyone to watch and listen and not feel happy! If not, have a look at my profile photo and I defy anyone not to fall in love with my kitty cat :)

I've just uploaded a pic of the mummy cat with all three kittens...we're having two of them and they'll be ready at Christmas...our DD is going to LOVE them!!

Scarlett, I've only had my kitten 2 weeks. I am utterly besotted. He's already part of the family. You're sooo lucky. Are you keeping all if them?

I also have a blonde child (18 year old) who is marrying a ginger man in June! I am promised ginger grandchildren very soon!! Grin

The mummy cat is my friend's cat, she's giving us two kittens and keeping the other. We have a boy and a girl and we've named them Wiley-Kit and Wiley-Kat (after Thundercats - we're 80s babies!) We get to see them nearly every day as she's a good friend so they will know us well by the time we take them.

MammTJ - thanks! Your photos are great! Amazing cakes and beautiful children. My DH is ginger so my daughter's hair has a beautiful colour...I should probably upload a pic of her really seeing as this is Mumsnet, hold on Grin

She's 3 next weekend, although that pic is a few months old. I don't have any more recent ones on the laptop unfortunately

Can I just boast, my son is pre raphealite personified. He is tall, skinny and porcelain. I'm totally in love with him :) Scarlet, what a great place to be. I'm new to being a cat mummy but I fear I may now end up a crazy cat lady.

Cats are awesome, I grew up with them and have pretty much always had them. We lost our last one to the road a couple of years ago and have since acquired a rescue dog (Jack Russell cross) but I've missed the awesomeness of cats.

I'm a cat person though I love dogs. DH is a dog person although he now loves cats.

I feel DD will be the same. I'm very fair and DH is red haired and freckly. I'm very tall and DD is looking like she'll be the same (she was 10lbs when born and that was all length rather than chubbiness).

Mama, don't want to give my id away. You'll have to use your imagination. Pre raphealite boy. He's nearly as tall as me at 11. He's interestingly a magnet for the girls. He's interesting and uber cool with his 80's style. Scarlet, no, his eyes are now an olive/mustard colour but striking and he's very loving. He gently snuggles me and touches my face with his little paw while looking lovingly into my eyes. Then swiftly rips into my cuticles (ouch) :) I like to think of him as playful! I'm off to sleep. I'm up early night lovely folks :)
