To think Andrea McClean is a bellend?

I've been off sick for bloody ages now with pregnancy sickness and mainly bed bound so there's been a lot of daytime telly.

With every day that passes I hate Andrea McClean a little but more.

This is mainly based on her annoying head girl style of presenting that makes me want to punch her hard and also due to an article I read about her years ago where she was really smug about having only slept with men she had then gone on to marry because she was a "good girl" (knobhead).

Is it my hormones making me despise her or is this reasonable?

Whilst we are resurrecting why we detest Andrea McClean, may I remind us all of Exhibit A, that fucking book she wrote about herself, the final chapter of which was entitled "Keepin' It Real".

Talking of female presenters Fiona Phillips was on my TV earlier. I am assuming it was an April Fool?

What is her claim to fame other than reading a weather autocue?

Sparklingbrook the OP was me on a previous name change. My DD is 9 months old on Sunday. I never did stop being sick- ended up in hospital January til March on a drip! DD is worth it though.

I think she did Google herself. Not Snow White after all. I didn't think she was anyway, she went down in my opinion when she cheated with the builder, then acted like a victim when it all went wrong.

I have no idea who she is but I'm tutting because of the spelling of the surname and am prepared to dislike her on that basis.

It should be either McLean or MacLean.

McClean is some awful bastardised version (I.e. misspelled) which has been noted down wrongly sometime in the past.

Mind you - I am not a genealogy expert but I have never come across a Scottish MacCLean...

AND just in case anyone thinks otherwise it should be pronounced "Mac-Layne"
