I work in a large organisation, this time of year a large amount if raffles, bottle draws, collections are circulated for charities and good causes. I have given to some of these but not all plus I give to a charity that I have chosen.
I was looked at like I was being very unreasonable indeed yesterday because I declined to buy raffle tickets, next person in line was given a huge speech with glances at me about what a worthy cause this was. I know all that because I bought the tickets for the same thing from a neighbour.
AIBU to think you can't say 'no thank you' to these things without feeling like you have to explain yourself?
