I avoided it for ages because I hate the fact they have penis heads and heard it was really annoying too. I finally watched an episode with dd and omg I think I love it more than she does. I love the way mummy pig and daddy pig aren't perfect and I actually find myself laughing at some of the episodes Hmm The one with the grandparents and the lorry of gnomes Grin And the ice puddle when peppa fell over muahhaha.

AIBU to like it more than dd seems to?

We love it here too . 'Oh I didn't expect THAT to happen ' has become a bit of a family saying . Love Ben and Holly too , especially Nanny Plum .

'Ooh Nanny ! Doing all the cleaning up ourselves instead of using magic is so much fun ! '. 'Grumble grumble mutter ' from Nanny Plum . Love it .

My 18 month old loves peppa pig and Ben and holly! However, they pose a lot of questions - where are all the male fairies? Why do the elves do all the work and is Pedro Pony a little bit neglected? Maybe I'm over thinking it...

We are a Peppa Pig loving family here, too OP!

My DS channels Edward Elephant. Yesterday we're out and he is pootleing along with me holding and looking at his favourite bug book.
"Look. A snail....veeery interesting"
"Look. A worm...veeery interesting" Grin

Daddy Pig is a big ol' would be know it all. What's that Mummy Pig? Of course I know what I'm doing, I am an expert at such things.

Ooops. Well, I didn't expect that to happen. Snort.

I absolutely love Peppa Pig. (And Ben and holly actually)
We are going to peppa pig world at the weekend and I'm more excited about that than I am for Christmas ??

Love it! Have coined: Ooh, Mr Skinny-legs IS big, isn't he? when there's a spider and when helping with French homework, 'Well, that bit says 'Dear Peppa' and the rest...well the rest is just all nonsense'.

I love the one when daddy pig is relaxing in the garden.... Thinking its a Saturday..... Then mummy pig tells him it's Thursday and he runs off to work in a panic with a jolly 'HoHoooo'
Love daddy pig - he's lush :-)

I used to be just the same and loved it. DD loves it and always wants to watch it. I no longer love it seen it too much. But don't dislike it and it can be quite funny 'ah bull in a china shop' Grin but Miss Rabbits voice is so annoying I wish she would get miximatosis.

I love the crying tears! Just watched the Edmund Elephant birthday party where Peppa and her friend make all the little kids in the party cry... hilarious

I thought Peppa was annoying until ds started watching videos on YouTube (we have it in our telly) of people playing Lego/Star Wars/Hotwheels. Am secretly on dd's side when she is campaigning for "Poppa peeg".

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. We made both series intending them to be funny and charming in a way that will appeal to small children and the parents watching with them. We can't please all the audience all the time, but we keep trying, and you'll all be pleased to hear that its one of the very few animation series made entirely from start to finish in the UK by ourselves in our London animation studio. Oink Oink and happy Christmas all - Phil

There are a few male fairies in Ben and Holly - not many though I'll grant you. (I particularly love the Boris Johnson Mayor)

Blimey! Phildavies1 your shows are worshipped in our house. In fact my sons are glued to Ben and Holly right now and I can't watch it without laughing out loud. My boyfriend has a crush on Nanny Plum (I get it) and I just love the Wise Old Elf.

PhilDavies1 my DS3 is obsessed with both Ben and Holly and Peppa Pig. He has Down Syndrome and very little speech, but he can recite whole chunks of both shows while he's watching (and he always falls on the floor laughing at the end of every episode of Peppa Pig!)

I have a 15month old DS and discovered peppa and Ben and holly last month and I bloody love them!
They are so funny, husband says he knows when peppa is on as he can hear me chuckling from upstairs!

My DS loves peppa and we love grampy rabbit! Phil don't know if you have anything to do with merchandise but can they make some boys clothes with peppa on them? Sometimes I find George stuff but DS insists George is a baby and he is peppa
