I avoided it for ages because I hate the fact they have penis heads and heard it was really annoying too. I finally watched an episode with dd and omg I think I love it more than she does. I love the way mummy pig and daddy pig aren't perfect and I actually find myself laughing at some of the episodes Hmm The one with the grandparents and the lorry of gnomes Grin And the ice puddle when peppa fell over muahhaha.

AIBU to like it more than dd seems to?

We love Peppa Pig, especially Miss Rabbit. The Delphine Donkey episode is fabulous. [Daddy Pig hands phone to Mummy Pig "it's all just gibberish!" Mummy Pig- "They are speaking French, Daddy Pig"] then there's the bit where Delphine's Daddy has packed "a few things you do not 'ave over 'ere, like cheese, tomatoes, waterrr ..."

Have just discovered Ben and Holly too.

Ah I see!! Well then mr Davies, you are a genius!!

My dd and I were quoting Peppa in the car earlier- "I woke up this morning, the sea was still there, and so was the sky...."

I like Mr Bull best. The episode when he is drinking his tea out of a china cup and has a china teapot that he breaks then takes to Miss Rabbits shop to be mended is great. 'Ah a bull in a china shop' then at the end they mend the pothole outside the shop 'we'll dig up the road'

blackhole Phil Davies is the producer of Peppa Pig and Mark and Nev are two of the writers. Not sure who Jemima is though - sorry Jemima!

I feel a bit giddy being in the presence of Peppa royalty although I admit that article did Confused me.

DS loves it! When he does anything now he always says, "I am a bit of an expert at this!" So good!

I bloody love Peppa, not to mention Ben and Holly. Particular favourites in our house are the episode where Mr Bull breaks his tea pot, and his mates try to fix it ("I've got some cement boss!" "And I've got the rivet gun!") and the Ben and Holly alien invasion one (Alien, of the useless king "What a great and wise leader!" Wise Old Elf, drily, "Yes, we're very lucky...").

I am so confused by that article that I can't even comment on it

In other news, we saw Grampy Rabbit for the first time today and enjoyed Brian Blessed's voice! I think dd may be addicted to Peppa now as she's stood in front of the TV a few times today saying "telly...peppa...where you?" Grin

Slightly mad article, reminding me of classic mumsnet line, the fifties called and they want their attitude back. Peppa seems just like any normal little girl with a normal family, well apart from them all being pigs of course. As for a carrot and a potato shacking up together well...

Peppa Pig is brilliant! As is Ben and Holly.

DD1 is too old for it now but she still likes it. In fact, yesterday she said "Mummy, even though I'm 6, is it ok to still like Peppa Pig?" I said of course. I'm 30 and I like Peppa Pig :o but we agreed that we'll keep it secret and not tell her school friends! Wink

DD2 is 2.10 and loves Peppa Pig. She has all the characters (mostly inherited from DD1) and she's getting the toy balloon ride for Christmas.

I'll be gutted when she's too old for it.

Watched an episode yesterday about the cuckoo clock. Love how Peppa and George jump on their parents' bed at silly o'clock in the morning and daddy shouts "what?!" as they wake him up!

Also- "daddy pig loves doing nothing," hehe!

The DVDs were £3 in asda should have bought some...

Not unreasonable at all! We love, love, love Peppa pig as well at ours.

I hope my DD never grows out of it. The adult jokes are hilarious and keep hubby amused.
The one where the Freddy the fox tell his dad he'd been down the rabbit hole for lunch and his dad replies something like "well done son" is his favourite. LOL

I've often relied on Peppa to discourage DD to jump in muddy puddles without boots so it's all bad I suppose.

We love Peppa in our house! Bong bing boo, bing bong bing, bing bong bingly bongly boo!!

I cook a dinner which has sausages, peppers and sweet potato in it - it's yum. My daughted gets confused about Peppa (puppy) and peppers, and we've now got to the point where she picks up a pepper and declares it puppy. When she picked up a sausage without really thinking I told her that was George. So now she has Puppy and George at mealtimes. My husband says that makes me a bad mummy - is he BU? Blush
