he ate a 'mexican chicken' pannini for lunch. farts now coming approx every three minutes. Typing through duvet and can still smell it. Bedroom window wide open and the dog has just left in disgust.

Yanbu. I wish I had a room/whole other planet to send my dh to when he eats something that produces those kind of farts.

Writerwannabe83 · 10/12/2013 20:55

As someone with a husband who does the most disgusting farts you have my absolute sympathy!!! Men are just too disgusting at times Grin

And why do the farts only appear at bedtime??
My husband does the 'silent but violent' types - the duvet offers no protection!!

He thinks he can get away with it by giving me puppy dog eyes and saying "Windy Pops" Hmm

trashcanjunkie · 19/12/2013 23:57

pah hahahhah windypops seriously LTB!!! I get "I mighta done a pump"

he is a complete fart bastard, he does them just as we've got in the car and then holds the fucking windows up! He also tries to make me breathe them in by holding me down when I try to grab duvet or erect some kind of pillow based Anderson shelter!! It's abuse I tell you.

I have actually persuaded him this is not normal. He has agreed to a dietary change post christmas to see if we can reduce the guffage.

he holds you down so you can't avoid the smell? Hmm that is actually not funny

trashcanjunkie · 24/12/2013 23:55

he doesn't get very far LEM that's cue for me to fight him like a wild cat Grin (with much sniggering and shrieking on both of our parts) If I actually said "seriously don't" he would stop. We love a silly wrestle in bed...
