.....that if someone is standing looking at a card you cant get by. At all. Its a card shop, people want to stop and choose a card without feeling like they are bottlenecking the whole shop...

Oh, it's annoying isn't it! If Imtake Dd in the pushchair, often shop aisles are so narrow we end up bumping into things (or DD grabs things off the shelf). Even worse is when shops put boxes of stuff in the middle of the aisles which creates a bottleneck, especially if someone is then standing and choosing an item next to the box!

Totally agree tend to buy cards in the supermarket for this very reason

Can't say I've noticed really.

But a more appropriate AIBU for me would be 'why do card shops have such crap cards?'
