To think that changing your NN to take a pop at someone...

XmasLogAndHollyOn · 06/12/2013 08:49

Makes you a giant stinky chicken shit.

Seriously. Huge example of this yesterday. Someone changed their NN just to have a go at someone else. Not only that, but they even made their new NN well snidey to match what they thought of the other poster.

Seriously folks. If you want to argue with someone, or bitch at someone or kvetch about someone, at least have the strength of character to do it in your usual NN.

Changing to a snide name to make snide comments makes you look like Queen Cunt of Cuntington, and makes you lose any of the moral high ground that you may be sitting on in your head.

Its childish, its cowardly and it makes you a giant stinky chicken shit.

There's also a few who name change to start similar goady threads, usually about Muslims/disability/benefits.

The posting style makes it so obvious that it is the same people. Why not stick to a regular name so everyone knows it's you and you are a twat .

ProfondoRosso · 06/12/2013 09:43

It makes a person look like a creep. Who spends too much time online.

limitedperiodonly · 06/12/2013 09:46

Why do I never spot any of this? Sad I must be oblivious-or a bit thick.

WorraLiberty · 06/12/2013 09:51

YANBU

A reg used to change her name to have a go at me because when she did it in her normal NN, people would pick her up on it and tell her how bitter she sounded.

Thing is, she'd make the same spelling mistakes and post in her regular topics so it was obvious...to me anyway Grin

ThisisnotSparklingbrook · 06/12/2013 09:52

Yes Sparkling you are incredibly thick indeed. How can you 'not spot' anything Hmm

gamerchick · 06/12/2013 09:54

There are occasions where it's done to have a good-humoured pop at a poster and the OP takes it in the spirit in which it was meant and a jolly good time was had by all. I think that's OK. Or this thread where everyone was merrily changing their names to variants of each others' names, that's OK too. But the snideness is not on.
