I love you DP, truly I do. But it is 4am and I am starting to feel slightly unhinged.

Listening to you 'breathe' is like a cheese grater to the brain.

I realise murder is not a reasonable response.

I am at the end of my tether.

YANBU. Pillow to the face. Kindest thing for all.

That's why I sleep in a separate room although am wide awake now and I can't even blame DH. Flipping insomnia Xmas Angry

Crowler · 04/12/2013 04:32

Insomnia here too, exacerbated by falling asleep during Eastenders.

My husband snores like a maniac. He's permanently stationed in the guest room, I make conjugal visits as needed.

StarSwirl92 · 04/12/2013 04:35

Insomnia, not fun D:

Every time there's a lull, I get excited and close my eyes - then he rolls back over and it crescendos again. I swear I'm going slightly mad, I get annoyed when it suddenly changes pattern.

The lulls are cruel.

If my husband has had anything to drink, it becomes exponentially worse.

Thumbwitch · 04/12/2013 04:44

Hairbrush under his back so when he rolls over onto it, it sticks into him. And then try the nose-tape, and if that fails get him tested for sleep apnoea, which is potentially a serious condition that could cause him long-term problems.

Or go for the pillow, I know I'd feel like it!

I also have a separate room from DH, but that's partly because I co-sleep with the baby - the no-snoring thing is an added bonus! Grin

StarSwirl92 · 04/12/2013 04:48

I currently just jab him with my fingernails until he moves. I am a cruel an unforgiving sleep deprived woman.

YANBU, Next step is "I hate you because you sound like a drill". Someone should go to the couch before you get to that.

Thumbwitch · 04/12/2013 04:53

Nah, go for the hairbrush if you have one - you might break a nail and then you'd have another reason to be frustrated with him! Grin

WiggleAroundTheChristmasTree · 04/12/2013 05:32

Mine gets annoyed if I wake him to make him stop, so now I just make a loud noise and pretend to still be asleep so he thinks he woke himself up.
