To call the police?

Hi all,

My neighbours are fighting. Well, he's screaming and smashing things and she's crying. Do I call the police? We're a semi so they'll know it's me who's called but I'm scared about what's going on. They've argued before but this is the worst I've heard.

Thanks everyone for putting my mind at ease. The police came round pretty quickly & I also saw that her son had come round too - she must've called him. She's such a lovely lady, really hope she's okay.

You were right to do it but I think also you should have recorded it in case one of them was really hurt.

Useful advice Imperial. If it happens again (& I really hope it doesn't although this wasn't the first time) I will.

Good idea. I wouldn't necessarily call the police just for shouting etc, but I definitely would if they were smashing things as well.
