Ooooh think I had a thing through my door about this.

MrsDeanAmbrose · 01/12/2013 18:12

Ooh I heard about this, I thought I'd missed the sign up deadline though.

prestwichvillage · 01/12/2013 19:21

Sneaky bump in case anyone else might be interested.

i would if I had 100 pounds to spare...I grew up in Prestwich (south manchester now). Unfortunately I genuinely do no.t However I will share the link on Facebook and twitter for you xx

DziezkoDisco · 02/12/2013 22:05

It needs it! Have you set up a facebook group for preswich? Invite everyone local you know, get them to invite others, but dont make it single issue. Call it M25, and get people talking local issues. They may already be one, worked well our way. Good luck.

MrsDeanAmbrose · 02/12/2013 22:53

Bumping as there's an hour to go before the deadline.

prestwichvillage · 03/12/2013 09:52

Thanks Thanks everyone for bumping/looking/sharing etc, apparently they've passed £60k of investment which is an amazing start Grin

(Looks like they're still accepting applications by post and they'll accept pledges to pay at a later date if you'd like to join but the timing isn't right.)

Yay for local veggies!

Nope, it closed down a few (?) months ago, is being refitted to be another e-cig shop at the moment, depressingly.

They've said they won't be competing against other local businesses, eg they weren't going to sell cheese etc until the Cheese Place closed down

Not too late according to the website if you might be interested Annie.

One more little bump in case anyone might be interested, the share offer was extended and finishes (again!) tonight at midnight. They're offering deferred payment options and instalments to make it easier.

They've raised £76k so far, target is £95k so hopefully we're very close to having our lovely new food co-op Grin

Thanks Thanks Thanks
