The RA summer exhibition this summer had something like that: the mechanical Kanga, did you see it?
On the same vein, Beaulieu place ( motor museum) has several sculptures in it's gardens :), if you like what you linked, you'd like those too.
It's an intriguing concept, isn't it?

There are some videos on youtube but nothing beats going to see them for the show. Beautiful, tragic, funny, incredibly atmospheric and mesmerising.

Yeah, everyday for 28 days she inserts a new ball of wool and then sits in the gallery and knits it.

I don't know what to make of the vagina knitting!
