to have no idea which tights to wear?

Going out tomorrow night and wearing a just above knee length, 3/4 sleeved black lacy dress with black heels. Should I wear black tights or nude?

Black tights are acceptable in this weather but nude tights would look better.

If your legs are good then nude is fine, if not go for a 'nearly black'.

Buzzard what makes legs good and why would black tights be getter on bad legs? Do you mean fat legs?

My legs tend to look enormous in nude tights so only wear them if I have to. Darker tights obviously are more slimming. Not necessarily 'fat' legs but something about the shape and colour IYSWIM?

Get thee to M&S - 7 denier nearly blacks. They give you the best of all worlds.

Many thanks - will have an emergency trip to M&S in the morning to buy some nude and low denier black tights as I'm sure the ones I have are laddered and bobbly which won't help me achieve my party goddess look. I know it's November and cold but tis the season to party!
