To boycott cellotape!

I must have spent more time looking for the end of the fucker than actual wrapping!

The toddlers birthday is tomorrow (the toddler will need to be re-named soon) and I finally decided it was time to wrap. I hate doing it but cellotape makes the experience even worse. I will even go as far as to blame it for the strained relationship between me and wrapping.

It can get fucked now. Christmas presents are getting glued. Pritt stick can be my wrapping partner from now on.

I bought myself a really good, office style tape dispenser. Saved a lot of headaches over the years.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 28/11/2013 22:31

Get ne of these

Problem solved.

What are you renaming the toddler? I'm assuming something like 'the child' or 'the boy' rather than 'John' or 'bob' ?!

SPsWouldCatFishNev · 28/11/2013 22:49

Probably The 'Tude

OneUp · 28/11/2013 22:54

ThisIsMeNow I'd imagine she's renaming from the toddler to the preschooler?

OneUp · 28/11/2013 22:56

Sorry ThisIsMeNow I misread your post as asking if their name was changing. Blush

Well, you may be boycotting sellotape, but this thread has just provided me with DH's b'day present - I am in possession of an individual who uses a ruler to get the wrapping paper folds sharp enough, so the Bostik will do v. nicely - thank you!

P.S. SPs - "the 'Tude" sounds good - is he going to be a 'threenager' from tomorrow? V. happy birthday to him and hope he enjoys the day.

SPsWouldCatFishNev · 28/11/2013 23:02

He will be 14 4 tomorrow. He thinks it a big deal and everything will change. Pretty funny what he expects

Hot glue. Everytime. Makes Christmas Day pressie-unwrapping time last that extra 1-hour longer so I can neck fake Baileys

randomAXEofkindness · 28/11/2013 23:07

YADBU. If we boycotted cellotape half of my house would fall off.

Well that's an easy present then - just wrap up downstairs in loo roll and hand him a paint brush - everything will change very quickly...

Happy Birthday to the former toddler
