Know they're just adverts/telly programmes but it puts my teeth on edge when it shows people putting their dirty shitty shoes on the furniture?
I am heavily pregnant and hormonal but it still bloody riles me!

No but my dh hates bare feet just as much. Anyone on stage singing in their bare feet makes him throw shoes at the telly! Lol

Meglet · 28/11/2013 15:56

Yanbu. Shoes on furniture makes me feel ill. Imagine the filth, spit and poo on them .

TyrannisedByToddlers · 28/11/2013 16:02

YANBU.

diddl · 28/11/2013 16:17

Same here OP-looks wrong & uncomfortable!

phantomnamechanger · 28/11/2013 16:21

I agree, no shoes in the house let alone on the furniture! then again, at the other end of the spectrum are the people who even let their animals walk on worktops, lay all over sofas and sleep in their beds. Bleurgh!

LittleTulip · 28/11/2013 16:23

Agree!

Although I also feel the same way about shoes and carpets

SolitudeSometimesIs · 28/11/2013 16:42

Makes me stabby when they put shoes on the bed. It seems very common on American shows. It's just gross. But then again I'm heavily pregnant and hormonal too Grin

Tee2072 · 28/11/2013 16:44

You do realize those shoes have not actually been outside, right? They've been in a studio?

Unless they film whatever it is you're watching outside. And even then, they may have a pair of inside shoes.

Also? It's TV. It's not real.

Lottapianos · 28/11/2013 16:47

YANBU at all. It's grim, even if it is all pretend and in a lovely clean studio. And I am neither pregnant nor hormonal Smile

D0oinMeCleanin · 28/11/2013 16:47

I do it Blush but that is because I have an irrational fear of bare feet and cannot stand to touch them or touch anything that has touched them (and before anyone asks I have one of those foot washers that you stick to the bath, so I do clean my feet, I just don't touch them when I do it, baby feet are fine)

My sofa is pleather. I bleach it a few times a week, so I figure it's fine and in my mind bare feet are dirtier Hmm
