Dh was playing on the internet last night and looked up our house.

There's our house, through the window you can clearly see our DCs on the sofa and what they're watching on TV.

Is that OK?

Yes

PeterParkerSays · 27/11/2013 13:43

Can you see that they are identifiably your children, or just shadows on the sofa?

capsium · 27/11/2013 13:44

I think it is quite sweet. I am on Google Streetview and was quite excited about it. Are they immediately recognisable? They usually black faces out. If it upsets you, you can ask for it to be blanked out.

I noticed when looking up our house me and ds2 were out playing in the garden and our faces were visible. I emailed them and they pixilated the view.

capsium · 27/11/2013 13:48

^That should be 'blank' faces out. Typo.

LoveandLife · 27/11/2013 13:48

You can identify them on as boys, identify the logos on their clothes and see their hair colour - not sure you'd recognise them if you didn't know them iyswim

I would say there is nothing to worry about then. What do they think?

TheLostPelvicFloorOfPoosh · 27/11/2013 13:49

Email google and ask them to photoshop in some net curtains.

Can you see anything that you wouldn't see if you peered in whilst walking down your street? Do you have any privacy issues eg abusive ex you're hiding from?
