Dd has lost all her gloves her wibu to take some from nursery lost property the day it goes to the charity shop/becomes nursery stuff? Really can't afford decent new ones.

If you really can't afford it and the stuff is ready to go to charity, then the nursery manager will probably let you have them if you ask.

Yanbu if they're getting chucked or whatever.

I've sewn my ds2 and ds3's onto ribbon and threaded it through their coats as I was sick of replacing gloves/mittens and so far so good! Maybe worth a try with the next pair?

I think it's fine... We're always given the option to raid the "spares" before they go to the charity shop at dd's nursery. Sometimes I even find something that she owns!
