AIBU to ask for MN help weaning DD (3) onto dairy?

Help. I've asked the GP and the paediatric dieticians but they just tell me DD might grow out of her diary and soya intolerance. I'm fairly clued up, relatively intelligent and yet cannot seem to find a definitive way to introduce dairy and soya into her diet.

Multiple reasons for doing so, I suspect from my own experience cheese will never be tolerated. I don't know what type of dairy or quantities, at what rate, whether to try cooked dairy first or just a tiny bit of yoghurt everyday to acclimatise her gut.

I know theres an allergy board but thought I'd dip my toe in the AIBU water. Thanks in advance

We got a plan from the dietician, do you see one?

It's in stages so first off start with food with cooked milk in it (baked in the oven for at least half an hour). Like lasagne or fish pie, that sort of thing. No cheese.

We tried it for a few weeks then you move on to cooked cheese. Then it's melted cheese then raw cheese. Then it's fresh milk.

We haven't got past the raw cheese stage yet.

What are the symptons of her intolerance?

A friend of mine set up a Facebook page due to her dd's intolerances & allergies m.facebook.com/groups/248462851863286?ref=bookmark&__user=630406422

It's called Babies Milk & Food Allergies Support group in case the link doesn't work.

We were advised to start with something with milk baked in it. Digestive or malted milk biscuits were suggested and to try every 3 months or so. My DS has an allergy to dairy and is 10 months.
