This might ruin the whole concept of AIBU but sometimes people pop up with opinions that I am shocked by, not because of what they are but just because they are so marginal. (SPs Cliff Richard obsession, for example?)

So, whilst encouraging you all to go forth and spread your weird and wonderful thoughts all over AIBU and elsewhere, what really unpopular opinions do you hold?

I have a couple of corkers, first one is that Kanye West however much of a knob he is actually is a genius.

My kids can please themselves what time they go to bed.
I don't take 'board' of DS1 now that he is working.

The kids can eat what they want from the fridge, whenever they want.
I'm not bothered about everyone sitting and having a meal at the same time.

If DS2 doesn't want breakfast before school, well it's not my belly that's empty and he had enough options.
DS2 has GTA5 and he is 14

That people with drug addictions should be treated not as criminals, but medical patients, and their be a legislation to hold them in rehab until clean. Like some sort of sectioning. And this should be available to all.

-agree with posters above about newborn babies and add that I have no desire to know about their bowel movements or lack thereof
