NC (not for this) but I'm long-standing MNer (Pom bear, naice ham...)

This might ruin the whole concept of AIBU but sometimes people pop up with opinions that I am shocked by, not because of what they are but just because they are so marginal. (SPs Cliff Richard obsession, for example?)

So, whilst encouraging you all to go forth and spread your weird and wonderful thoughts all over AIBU and elsewhere, what really unpopular opinions do you hold?

I have a couple of corkers, first one is that Kanye West however much of a knob he is actually is a genius.

I think women who don't have children through choice aren't real women

BOF · 20/11/2013 23:31

I have no problem whatsoever with anybody who chooses not to have kids (uncontroversial opinion). I only really have a problem with bigots. Which is as it should be, and again, not especially controversial.

PresidentServalan · 20/11/2013 23:32

I don't think anyone would say that everyone who is a mother is self absorbed, but some people are.

Weasleyismyking · 20/11/2013 23:32

Ha! Cliff works much better than a MNHQ warning Grin

Tweasels · 20/11/2013 23:33

That was a joke btw

I don't think I have any unpopular opinions (boring)

MoominsYonisAreScary · 20/11/2013 23:33

My eyes!!! Give me JD any day, he'd be getting some if he bought his weirdyness over here

SPsWouldCatFishNev · 20/11/2013 23:33

the less lighthearted it gets the more clothes he loses

Want to play?

PresidentServalan · 20/11/2013 23:33

Masters why - are you from the Carrot Cake Council?

DrCoconut · 20/11/2013 23:34

Ooh, where to start! Bacon is the work of the devil, it's vile and stinks. I had my ears pierced aged two and see nothing wrong with it. I don't think teachers are overpaid or have too much holiday etc.

LuciusMalfoyisSmokingHot · 20/11/2013 23:34

If someone dont want kids, then they have the right to choose that, its not something humans have to do, but its not nice to sneer at people that choose to have children.

MrsBeeZed · 20/11/2013 23:34

I don't think this world is real and is holographic. One step further: it's a projection of my mind and not one of you exists; I'm just pretending that you do whilst hypothesising with myself.

TheMastersBra · 20/11/2013 23:34

It's the most controversial comment so far imo.

VerySmallSqueak · 20/11/2013 23:34

I'm tempted to report SPs.

Did you have to? Grin

MoominsYonisAreScary · 20/11/2013 23:35

I'm not clicking on that then

Thesebootsweremadeforwalking · 20/11/2013 23:35

I think that living your life on Facebook is utterly bizarre. Just don't get it. And I don't like photos of me or my kids ending up on other people's accounts either.

I think it's ok to use an accessible loo if using the regular public loo would mean leaving your small children/ buggy unattended on the wrong side of a locked door.

LuciusMalfoyisSmokingHot · 20/11/2013 23:35

SP, no amount of brain bleach will repair the damage if you choose to play that game. ewwww

DifferentNow · 20/11/2013 23:35

All the best music was in the 80's.

I like Aldi's and Center Parcs.

Next clothes look like a uniform.

LuciusMalfoyisSmokingHot · 20/11/2013 23:37

Oh and Pet Rescue Saga, Candy Crush, are the works of a very bored devil.

PresidentServalan · 20/11/2013 23:37

I know plenty of people who have children that are awesome (each to their own) but there are some that become 'sneery' - I think they are probably like that anyway but they get worse.

HaroldTheGoat · 20/11/2013 23:37

I like havens. I like a caravan holiday.

VerySmallSqueak · 20/11/2013 23:37

Discounted.That's fact not opinion.

cloggal · 20/11/2013 23:38

usual

Realised my mistake too late, reported to MNHQ on page one or two... Started looking okay... Cathartic even and then, yep.

Annoying, predictable even but...sigh

Yeah that is absolute fact!!!

Tweasels · 20/11/2013 23:39

I've thought of one.

I actively seek out parent and child spaces. I love opening my car doors really wide and being able to lift my daughter out with ease. I even enjoy being close to the store as I'm a lazy fucker.

PresidentServalan · 20/11/2013 23:39

Although am now worried that I will be getting a visit from the paramilitary wing of the Carrot Cake Council.
