My DS2 does this - if I'm not there he crys for me, for DH if he's not there, for Grandma if she's not there......

My mum still hasn't got over the occasion when, aged 14 months, I walked past her shouting, "grandma!" after she had come out of hospital with my baby sister. I am 42. I have assured her many times that it wasn't personal!

Don't fret about it. Kids do this sort of thing.

My 2.5 yr old does this sometimes. And at other times he blanks his grandma completely and won't leave my side.

I just think how amazing it is that my little one feels so secure in the love of not just me and DH but MIL too. (Plus the little monkey plays us off against each other . . . )

I know I'm being ridiculous just have issues with the mil as it is and now feel like the kids prefer her! Think i am over hormonal today!
