It is a warm evening here in the Middle East and being Winter the beach is now viable again. The kids and I were swimming around in cool water and from the shore there she was illuminated by Mumsnet.

We are eating and accompanying us there is the glow.

Anniegetyourgun · 15/11/2013 16:20

I was going to say YANBU, but then you said she was on MN. So, sorry, YABU, she isn't. I'm afraid when you take on a woman who Mumsnets you take on the whole package.

LuciusMalfoyisSmokingHot · 15/11/2013 16:33

Mumsnet has a glow?????

When did that happen? Should we be worried?

Mylovelyboy · 15/11/2013 16:36

Love the Middle East. Well Jel........ you can do most things out there Buzz

passedgo · 15/11/2013 16:36

That's good then you can have the kids all to yourself. They will love it and you will make great memories.

Ask the hotel to switch off the internet.

iklboo · 15/11/2013 16:42

I hate the beach with an unadulterated passion. Maybe your wife does, too?

BuzzardBird · 15/11/2013 17:02

I was only teasing Mylovely I have family that live there ;)

passedgo · 15/11/2013 17:18

Actually when we're on the beach hubby does the paddling, rockpools and sandcastles, I do the swimming and lifesaving but read the paper between times cos never anywhere fancy enough to have beach-internet.

That is surely your answer, find a great day out - in the sticks somewhere.

Youarejustwordsonascreenpeople · 15/11/2013 17:22

Perhaps she was supervising them when they were running in and out of the water, which if they are anything like mine they would be.

Lavenderhoney · 15/11/2013 17:31

How do you know its mn? It could be her friend having a crisis. Or arranging a night out.

Oh, and watch out for jellyfish - one of my dc was stung recently in the sea there, and won't go in the sea again..
