We should arrange a DH swap. Does he also like mushrooms and eggs? :)

SpottyDottie · 12/11/2013 20:52

I like both Poirot AND 999. I shall be a sobbing wreck watching the last Poirot on Wednesday. Are you saying you really hate it then, Op?

I can tolerate a Poirot but it isn't my viewing choice. scottishmummy seemed to think it was abuse so I thought I'd put it to the masses

At least it's not Dog and Beth or Wheeler Dealers.

Which seem to be my DPs favourite programmes.

999 what's your emergency is on 47 all the time, let your DH watch Poirot! I love both but if there was a choice, the man with ze little grey cells will always win, especially in the case of his last ever episode!!

runes · 12/11/2013 21:04

How's he watching Poirot? I missed it last week and have been checking since but can't get it on catch up.

alemci · 12/11/2013 21:07

scottishmummy · 12/11/2013 21:07

Yes it's emotionally cruel, does he find it homoerotic

trixymalixy · 12/11/2013 21:10

I love Poirot. However I do think it's on the wrong night. Poirot should be on on a Sunday night.

liquidstate · 12/11/2013 21:11

Fancy swapping husbands?? Mine also watches programmes about monster cranes and lorries. And loves the X factor. Hmm

I have a 50 hour backlog of war documentaries and detective programmes to watch on my recorder.

greenbananas · 12/11/2013 21:12

Poirot is great, and David Suchet is perfect in the role, but I have read the books so many times that watching the tv adaptations is quite painful.

I'm with your dh overall, but feel your pain all the same (my dh has spent the evening watching re-runs of Top Gear, which I cannot bear).

FunnysInLaJardin · 12/11/2013 22:23
