Bruno Mars isn't marketed toward ten year old girls, his dancer did not have her vagina on full display through see through material while smoking weed and telling kids that drugs are great fun.

It's called 'lack of talent'. If you can't sing, can't dance and your songs are crap, take your clothes off or stand next to someone who already has. Sex sells and Elvis worked that out about sixty years ago. I prefer good musicians 'togs on' personally....

Don't bother with MTV, watch Kerrang.

With the exception of Marilyn Manson's 'Tainted Love' video, which satirises the whole misogynistic video aesthetic, you won't find many pole dancers. Most of the female lead singers are significantly more well covered.

Zat I didn't mention anything about children it offends me as a woman. Doesn't matter that she wasn't wearing a see through thong, there was still plenty of full on crotch shots that were not needed. I wanted to watch a music awards ceremony, not a sex show.

I just find it really depressing that things like that are seen as normal and acceptable. Maybe I'm just a prude.

There is plenty of good music out there if you ignore the over-hyped twaddle.

Amy Macdonald and a new group called The Overtones are a few examples.

Music hasn't got age and the backlog of great bands/artists is huge.

MTV is the devils work and should be ignored.
