DH not teenage children! We're all home from school and work. DH has put a new CD of atonal music on in the only warm room. I'm tolerating it just about and the children have retreated to their rooms and cold kitchen.

can you not ask him to turn it off please?

He's switched it off and is now winding the dog up. I suppose the AIBU to think its extraordinarily selfish to hog the only comfortable room and drive everyone else out of it.
Shit I'm stressed.

He was being unreasonable, you live together and he should have more consideration! I agree that it is selfish and I'd be extremely annoyed in this situation
