Firstly, I am disappointed that girl's superhero fancy dress appears to be very rare.
Secondly, I find this www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Girls-Child-Superhero-Fancy-Dress-Costume-Halloween-Book-Week-Kids-Outfit-New-/111014660452?pt=UK_Clothes_Children_sFancyDress_RL&var&hash=item19d8fd4964 ...look at option D. How is this appropriate?

Am I overly grumpy as I feel like crap?

Not appropriate for 'sexy' to be used in context with anything children do.
YANBU.

HettiePetal · 08/11/2013 11:51

What's wrong with Option D? It's a Supergirl outfit.

squeakytoy · 08/11/2013 11:51

what exactly are you complaining about???

harticus · 08/11/2013 11:52

It is described as "sexy". Supergirl Sexy Costume.

HettiePetal · 08/11/2013 11:52

Oh - didn't read down, just looked at the pic.

Yes - use of the word "sexy" is completely inappropriate. I would complain about that.

pictish · 08/11/2013 11:52

The outfit is fine...the description of 'sexy' is a bit odd.

CocacolaMum · 08/11/2013 11:56

Inappropriate description but I like the outfits!

nicename · 08/11/2013 12:12

The pinky supergirl? Its not overly bad.

nicename · 08/11/2013 12:16

I didn't see the 'sexy' bit (that's very yukky).

BuzzardBirdsBigBangers · 08/11/2013 12:22

Sorry, should have mentioned it was the description that irked me. I really want to buy one, but can't let myself unless they remove the word 'sexy'. I hate that word associated with children.
