People who post "pissed off", "devastated", "what's the point", etc...have 20 people asking "u ok?" and "what's up" and then don't bother answering, or say "nothing". What was the point of posting then?? You obviously wanted to share...?? AIBU??

Oh God, I hate this, I have just "defriended" 2 stupid vaucous women on FB for this very crime!

It is completely attention seeking.

It is the worst thing about FB. it pisses me off to the point that i actually put the reply, "either say whats wrong or shut up"

needless to say i hvae few FB friends.....

Vaguebooking drives me nuts too. I refuse to ever comment on it. The less attention they get the less likely they are to carry on. Or they might at least work out its annoying for everyone else when all they see in response is virtual tumbleweed.
I suppose Im crediting these types with more insight than they really have but Im an optimist.

I HATE this! I have a few who post things like "so tired of being let down all the time :(" and "all I try to do is make people happy and get it thrown back in my face" etc etc. Cue about 15 arse lickers "what's up hun??" Then "I'll pm you hun" JUST FUCK OFF!

I don't understand why people don't use their controls to limit what stuff they can see. The power is in your hands and people can post whatever the fuck they want on THEIR OWN facebook. it's up to you to limit what you see IMO. You have the power - use it.

I don't respond to these updates, they are always by the same people as well I've noticed.

Facebook cull statuses piss me off no end. Why do you need to tell people that you might be deleting them? They'd be none the wiser if you kept it quiet. Some people on mine have started writing things like "Congratulations if your still reading thing. You've survived my friends cull". Get the fuck over yourselves!

Haha this thread is so funny! I just hate the term 'hun' - nobody says that in real life! And the way people have to put a kiss after everything. Or even worse just a kiss! I may have to deactivate.

I have one friend on FB who does that and another who does it from time to time. Both experience depression and use their FB to vent so I don't mind. What pisses me off I'd people who feel obliged to have FB friends they don't like. I delete anyone who doesn't make my page entertaining, peaceful or fun and usually tell them to do the same for me too.

I say hun but only to friends who say it to me. I enjoy it because secretly I'd like to talk like Dolly Parton and call everyone 'sugar' all the time. My bog standard southern accent means I can't get away with stuff like this. Northerners have more leeway I feel.

My issue is the endless, endless pics of kids on my timeline. I love my friends. I love their kids. But there should be a law where you can only post pics of your cute baby, toddler looking winsome and your 7 year old playing football once a week not EVERY FUCKING DAY.

My thread is like a slightly shit kids clothing catalogue. Makes me value my single friends all the more: they post amusing comments and pictures of themselves drunk with minor celebrities.

Iv seen the passive aggressive "I can't believe some people are so rude,raging" status and was the person she was was raging at but denied it when I asked her in person if it was about me..funny how she has happened to completely drop me since then.
I wasn't actually rude just upfront/clear about a simple matter between our kids and I never did get a reply about it
