Yes I am talking about a thread from ions ago.

Why?

Because this morning Lola called Charlie he and him and that thread immediately popped into my head.

charlie is her big brother - why is it doubtful?

gemmal88 · 04/11/2013 21:24

Is it really a mystery that he is a boy?

FloozeyLoozey · 04/11/2013 21:26

Eh? How was it ever a mystery?

Wishfulmakeupping · 04/11/2013 21:26

He's a boy isn't he doesn't she call him her brother

Brittapie · 04/11/2013 21:27

When was it a mystery?

kinkyfuckery · 04/11/2013 21:27

Eh?

AntoinetteCosway · 04/11/2013 21:32

I don't remember that thread but I'd always assumed he was a boy...

ilovecolinfirth · 04/11/2013 21:36

Isn't Charlie her big brother?

FreakinRexManningDay · 04/11/2013 21:37

There was a thread a long time ago over whether Charlie was a boy or a girl as he was never referred to as brother (I have this little sister Lola..... etc etc).
I hadn't seen C&L in a long time and it popped into my head when it was on.
Surely some old gimmer saddos remember that thread?

no mystery, as you said, Lola calls him he and refers to her brother charlie.

FreakinRexManningDay · 04/11/2013 21:43

Come to think of it I think it was on _chat. Which means its gone forever.

Sad

Inappropriate mumsnet intrusion in my brain.

No mystery surely. He is her brother.

He wears trousers. She wears skirts. Tis obvious innit? (Joke!)

But really, here is proof if you really need it.

PenelopeChipShop · 05/11/2013 12:52

He's a boy. I've been to a reading with Lauren Child and she said so! I need a life too

wigglesrock · 05/11/2013 13:11

I thought in the episode where Charlie breaks his arm, Lola says "my big brother Charlie ...." I'm actually scundered for myself that I remembered that Blush

Beastofburden · 05/11/2013 13:56

Of course he's a boy. A nice role model for a caring boy who will make a lovely daddy. Whereas the girl is a proper little madam.

Perhaps people were jealous and wanted to claim Charlie as female too?

BlackholesAndRevelations · 05/11/2013 14:19
