Ugh horrid squeaky stuff.

Ugly as well. Why in earth does someone think buying £5 of tat from HB, dressing it up in cellophane, pitying some finormous bow on it mean that you can charge £20 as a luxury gift basket for him or her for Xmas?

Craft Fairs as well, don't get me started...

Pitying = putting.

But hey, it works...

Its the "lazy persons" style of present buying...it basically says "I didnt have a clue what to buy you, so this will do"

I dont feel strongly about it though

I think edible gifts eg homemade biscuits look lovely wrapped in cellophane, tied up with ribbon

isitsnowingyet · 04/11/2013 12:22

Not as naff as cling film

Homemade gifts look lovely in cellophane, true but us still a squeaky little beast to touch. Ugh.

I'm really talking about people who think adding 13p of cellophane to a few pieces of tat or sone lovehearts and thinking that justifies a 9million % price hike as us homemade. Ya see what I mean?
