Visited dad at care home Saturday morning. Been again today but was turned away due to d+v outbreak. AIBU to think I could now end up with it too?

Well you might. Make sure you wash your hands well as not doing so is how things spread.

Mintyy · 04/11/2013 11:45

Are you being unreasonable about what?

You might or you might not.

AgentZigzag · 04/11/2013 11:45

You could get it, but then mankies are everywhere, you're probably more likely to get it from a shopping trolley or your DC from school.

I hope this doesn't sound snippy, but aren't you more worried about whether your Dad will get it?

kalms1971 · 04/11/2013 11:59

Both of us. I have a vital meeting tomorrow about his finding so he can return home, coupled with juggling my sons childcare because the care home is 90 mins away by bus

YANBU to think you may end up with it, as you may end up with it.

Hope your Dad manages to avoid it.

Sallystyle · 04/11/2013 13:00

I have had it for 6 days.

It has been a fucking nightmare.

Just ate some toast, first food in 6 days. Only just got the energy to wash my hair.

That makes you feel better doesn't it? Hmm

AgentZigzag · 04/11/2013 13:05

Thanks for Sam.

drinkyourmilk · 04/11/2013 13:07

I don't understand what you are upset about.
Obviously hope you don't get sick

ringaringarosy · 04/11/2013 13:09

you might do,you might not,i wouldnt worry, you can catch them from anywhere public or your kids can ring home germs from school.Just make sure if you do get it you keep hydrated and rest as much as possible!

I.am worried because had it before and it was horrendous. I have to stay well to get things moving in order get him home again, for the sake of his health. He hates it in there and is utterly miserable. I had another long journey there today and was really looking forward to seeing him. He will be missing the visit
