Are some women really this close???

I'm watching an episode of SATC and I just nearly spat my tea out in shock when Samantha) went into the bathroom with Carrie to help her remove her diaphragm which was stuck

Now I know some female friends can be really close, and I know that SATC isn't real life....but seriously.....are there women out there who are genuinely this close to their friends???

Those of you who are appalled at the idea of touching someone's bits - what will you do if you end up with caring duties for a relative who is unable to manage their own personal care?

feis presumably you get used to it if you have have to. You haven't got to help in any of the above situations if you are squeamish.

There is a reason so many people don't go in to health care. It takes a certain kind of constitution. It's one of the reasons why I love midwives and have so much respect for them.

Feis actually I couldn't and wouldn't do personal care for anyone other than my DC's.

Some people can and I admire them for that and I think that people who work in care homes are saints but I personally couldn't ever have wiped my mums bum.

Of course some woman are very close.
Let's forget SITC, and answer that specific question.
I am pretty in-flap able. I can not think of many things that I wouldn't be able to do, for my best friend.

I am also a midwife. I delivered all 3 of my sisters children. We are very close.

I have known my two best friends since we were 12 and 13. we have all shared baths in the past and I wouldn't have a problem doing what samantha did.
