DD is watching Come Dine With Me.

There are 2 things in life I have no time for.

First is cooking; second is the type of people who go on shows like this.

But in the middle of this garbage is a man who SHOUTS OVER EVERYTHING AND IS NOT FUNNY, INTERESTING, CLEVER OR ENTERTAINING. What a twat. He has THE MOST IRRITATING VOICE AND HE USES IT TO SHOUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

I have got DD to turn this right down but I can still hear THE MAN WHO SHOUTS WHEREVER I GO IN THE HOUSE.

The only reason I watch Come Dine With Me is because of Dave Lamb. He's hilarious, if they ever get someone else I'll just stop watching.

I'm not really into watching a lot of TV and have never seen this programme before. This bloke is obviously a big part of the appeal and I am clearly the exception to the viewing rule.

fireside - do you find most TV annoying?

I'm going out tonight to a Halloween party with people I don't particularly like to avoid being in the house when the DCs and DP are watching stuff that just bemuses me.

I know that this is definitely sounds like IABU but I just don't want it attacking my ears/eyes/brain/nerves.

I'm actually a bit of a tv addict. I just hate game shows, most reality tv, most daytime tv and talent shows. They make my skin crawl for some reason and I'm so happy that the children have left home and I only have to compete with the husband for the remote control. I do love a good murder (pretend of course).

The presenter is the best thing about Come Dine With Me.
